THE ORIGIN

Hangaroo started with a simple observation: Sunday mornings were being wasted.

Not because of the drinking — everyone makes their own choices and we're not here to judge any of them. But because the morning after had no good solution. Pills that upset your stomach. Powders that taste medicinal. Drinks loaded with sugar. Or just suffering through it and writing off the whole day.

There had to be a better way.

THE IDEA

We started with the format. A dissolving strip — the same technology used in breath strips and some medications — turned out to be the perfect delivery system for a recovery formula. No water needed. No swallowing. No taste you have to force down. Thirty seconds on your tongue before bed and you're done.

Then we built the formula around ingredients that actually had research behind them. Not trendy buzzwords. Not a "proprietary blend" hiding behind a label. Real plant extracts with real reasons to be there — turmeric, milk thistle, grape seed, amla. Things humans have used for liver support and recovery for centuries, delivered in a format built for the modern weekend.

    The kangaroo wasn't an accident. Kangaroos don't walk backwards. They move forward — always. That felt right for a recovery brand. No dwelling on last night. No regret. Just bounce back and get on with it.

    The name Hangaroo came naturally after that. A hangover brand with a kangaroo mascot that literally bounces back. We're not subtle about it and we're fine with that.
